Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Quebec. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with solid experience in paint, coatings, or related chemical products , capable of managing client accounts, developing new business, and providing technical product support.

This position requires a bilingual (French/English) professional who is able to effectively interact with customers across Quebec, with a focus on the Montreal area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical product knowledge and consultation to customers regarding paint and coatings.
  • Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and product training sessions for clients and distributors.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable paint solutions based on technical specifications and applications.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up to close sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, production, and customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the paint and coatings sector.
  • Achieve sales targets and report regularly on activities and progress.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical sales (preferably in paint, coatings, construction materials, or chemicals).
  • Strong bilingual communication skills (French & English, verbal and written).
  • Solid technical knowledge of paint/coatings and their applications is a strong asset.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings.

Responsabilit s principales

  • D velopper et maintenir des relations avec les clients existants tout en identifiant de nouvelles opportunit s d'affaires.
  • Fournir des connaissances techniques et des conseils aux clients concernant les peintures et les rev tements.
  • R aliser des pr sentations, d monstrations et sessions de formation sur les produits pour les clients et distributeurs.
  • Comprendre les besoins des clients et recommander des solutions de peinture adapt es aux sp cifications techniques et aux applications.
  • Pr parer les devis, propositions et assurer le suivi pour conclure les ventes.
  • Collaborer avec les quipes internes (R&D, production et service la client le) afin d'assurer la satisfaction des clients.
  • Surveiller les tendances du march et l'activit des concurrents dans le secteur des peintures et rev tements.
  • Atteindre les objectifs de vente et rendre compte r guli rement des activit s et des progr s.

Qualifications

  • Exp rience confirm e en ventes techniques (id alement dans la peinture, les rev tements, les mat riaux de construction ou les produits chimiques).
  • Excellentes comp tences en communication bilingue (fran ais et anglais, oral et crit).
  • Solides connaissances techniques en peinture/rev tements et de leurs applications (atout majeur).
  • Comp tences prouv es en n gociation, pr sentation et gestion des relations clients.
  • Autonomie, motivation, orientation vers les r sultats et capacit travailler aussi bien de mani re ind pendante qu'en quipe.
  • Permis de conduire valide et disponibilit pour des d placements aupr s des clients.
